Angle Sections
Angle sections, also known as "L" sections, are structures with two perpendicular sides that are widely used to construct roof trusses and decks with infill beams.
Types of Angle Sections:
Equal Angles:
Both sides are of equal length. Used where equal strength is required in both axes. Sizes range from 20 mm x 20 mm x 3 mm to 200 mm x 200 mm x 25 mm. Weight per linear metre ranges from 9 N/m to 736 N/m. Unequal Angles:
Sides are of different sizes.
Used where different load distributions are required.Sizes range from 30 mm x 20 mm x 3 mm to 200 mm x 150 mm x 18 mm. Weight per linear metre - from 11 N/m to 469 N/m. These profiles are valued in construction for their high strength-to-weight ratio and ease of installation.
