Pipeline valves are devices installed on pipelines, units, vessels and designed to control the flow of working media by changing the cross-sectional area. According to their purpose, they are conventionally divided into the following types: Shut-off valves are a type of pipeline valves designed to shut off the flow of a medium.Control valves are a type of pipeline valves designed to regulate the parameters of the working medium. Safety valves are pipeline valves designed to automatically protect equipment and pipelines from unacceptable excess pressure by releasing excess working medium. Protective valves are a type of pipeline valves designed to protect process systems and various equipment from the occurrence or consequences of emergency situations.
